MicroCAD was founded in 1987, by the president, Agustin Fernandez. They offer training in Autodesk software including AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Civil 3D, and customized trainings based on customer needs. This training is held on site at one of the training centers or at the customer’s place of business. The open courses are limited to small classes never over 10 people. They provide class files to work with in the class as well as 30 days after the course is over. Students also receive 30 days of tech support from the instructor for working through class material and the challenges of working with their own software copy. All open courses include courseware material such as textbooks for each student as well. The prices are competitive and they try to run a promotional for training courses about once per quarter. They also accept Autodesk Assistance Program participants and honor their discounts with Autodesk for training, software sales, etc. All of the ATC’s provide certification through Autodesk in both Associate and Professional exams. MicroCAD believes their clients choose them for the small class size, personal attention, ease of locations, and willingness to meet the client’s needs.
